Your baby sets the pace. You get to keep your slippers on. We capture the gorgeous moments and the joy of these early days, that will be gone before you know it. No baskets, bows, or posing because tiny humans are perfect just as they are.
The result will be photos that show exactly what your early days looked like—filled with joy, connection, genuine emotion, and all the fleeting beauty of this time.

How it all works
Sessions take place in your home, lasting around 2 hours. We work completely at your baby's pace in your lounge, bedroom and nursery (if you have one). Siblings will be part of the shoot - those early moments together are so precious.
You won't need to worry if they need feeding, changing or settling - they most likely will and I'll capture it all. This is real life, and it all makes for beautiful images.
I photograph newborns from their first day up to about 6 weeks old, though around 2 weeks is ideal once you've found a bit of rhythm. Most families book during pregnancy to secure their preferred date.
Frequently asked questions
What if my house isn't big enough or modern enough?
The focus of your shoot is not your home but your family. I’m able to create beautiful images in the smallest of rooms because I know how to use natural light to get the best images possible.
What would happen if I didn't like my images?
An understandable concern when you are spending a chunk of money! If your pictures make you look awkward or if they don’t look like you or you don’t have enough high quality images I’ll do the whole thing again for free.
