There's no one-size-fits-all approach to newborn shoots. Some families like gentle direction. Some prefer to do their own thing. Many want a mix.


This family pretty much did their own thing. The sweetest big brother drifted in and out, even doing his own shoot at one point šŸ˜. It was super relaxed, natural, with mum and dad doing what felt right for them. And the results are stunning.


That's the beauty of documentary newborn photography. I work with how you need the shoot to be, not what I think you should do.
