Newborn photographer Newcastle - A new regular morning

This gorgeous newborn girl was two weeks old. Her big sisters were home. And it was anew regular morning for them all.
By the time I arrived, the morning was already in full swing. Little bean was fed, changed, and doing what two-week-olds do best, being passed between people who didn't want to put her down. There was nothing different to any other morning, no tidied-away clutter, no one performing for the camera. And that’s exactly what makes mornings like this worth documenting with an at-home newborn photography session.
People sometimes ask me what to do to prepare for a newborn shoot, and the honest answer is: not much. Feed the baby. Let the kids do what they'd normally do. Settle in, put the kettle on. The real stuff is what makes these images so lovely — a toddler climbing onto the sofa to get a better look, a newborn's face scrunching up mid-yawn, everyone settling into a new normal.
Their morning was ordinary in the best possible sense. And years from now, this is the kind of morning they will want to remember — not something staged or posed, but something that felt exactly like their life did then.”
If you’re expecting, or already in the middle of these early days and wondering if things feel too chaotic — they’re not. We’ll just find a morning that works and start there.
