There are lots of ways to photograph a newborn, and this is the way I love to do it.

I photograph babies just as they are — being fed, cuddled, changed, stretching, yawning, sleeping and looking around.

There are no elaborate set-ups or props. Instead, I come to your home and photograph your baby and your family as you are, using the space and the light you already have.

For me, there's something lovely about photographing those ordinary bits of life that happen when you have a new baby. The way you hold them, the little routines you've already developed, the tiny details that you probably don't even notice anymore.

You get photographs of what your life actually looked like during those first precious weeks.

You don't need a perfect house, and you don't need to know what to do in front of the camera.
