Most people think the photographs they’ll treasure most are the big milestones.

But often, it’s the quieter things people come back to.

The expressions your children used to pull. The way they held your hand. The gap-toothed smiles, the cuddles, the movement, the little parts of family life that quietly change over time.

When you’re in the middle of raising children, it’s easy to assume these things will always feel familiar. But childhood keeps moving forward, whether we notice it happening or not.

That’s one of the reasons I love photographing families doing things that feel most like them.

Because the way your family is right now won't stay this way for long.

During a family session I’ll gently guide things where needed, but there’s no pressure to pose perfectly or perform for the camera. I want your children to feel relaxed enough to play, explore, cuddle up with you and simply be themselves.

The photographs that often mean the most are usually the natural in-between moments — the connection between you, your children’s personalities, and the small details you’ll want to hold onto years from now.

Family photography doesn’t have to be overly styled or perfectly polished to be meaningful.
